Anyone have any experience with the no sony brand multitaps? Do they work just as well or should I just shell out the extra bucks for a sony brand. Thanks.

Well sony's worked decent for me so far *crosses fingers*

In case if it screws up, just return the parts and get yourself somethin nice with that $$ you just got back :)

I can't remember the brand name, but I bought the one that has 5 ports. It has worked well so far.

Brand name is always best, but if you are looking to save a few bucks you can go with a no-name brand.

So is the general concensus to stick with a sony brand multitap? How many of you have actually used a sony one versus a non-sony. Only one person said that it actually crapped out on them. Did is just not work at all or did it work for a bit and then stop working?

There are only a few I can think of right now including timesplitters, quake 3, guantlet, madden 2001 (8 player support, wonder what that would be like). I'm just anticipating future releases.

so what do you guys think about multitaps? sony vs no name brand.
