PS2 question

Anyone know anyway to hook up a PS2 so you can play it on your lcd? I know my vid card has an S-vid port and the PS2 I want to buy has an svid cable with it as well should that work? I know this is prob the wrong place to ask but there are like no ps2 forums out there...

No the Svideo port on your video card is likely an output port, so you can send your computer image out to a TV. You need some sort of input, be it composite or Svideo or whatever. Most of the all in wonder cards have this. As well as the Nvidia personal cinema cards. Some others might also have them, look for them saying they support video in.

Before I say anything else though, this LCD you speak of, its a flat screen PC monitor, not a TV right? I assumed, but I hate doing that.

Not sure how else you could hookit up without a video input. There may be some kind of adaptor for it. I think I have seen ones with VGA output, but not sure if there are any DVI output ones. Not sure which your monitos supports either.

yes, the svid is an output, not an input. Please let us know what model LCD you have so we can help you better.
