You think Sony or Microsoft will ever do such a thing, where you can play those games for Xbox, ps etc...on your pc?

I play my PS1 games on my computer all the time. ePSXe ftw. Most games look better emulated anyway, and with a proper controller adapater you can play with your console controller too.

ps1 emulators exist.
there are no working PS2 emulators. I don't know if there are any xbox emulators.

i'm not sure how it works, if you get a rom or if you can use the cd.

Yes, your CD/DVD drive will read the PS1 CD. You can also convert the CD to an iso and load the iso instead to remedy some performance issues (though I've never had problems emulating even on my 900mhz Athlon, with the exception of some full screen effects).

They also have n64 emulators but you need to dump the isos from your cartridge... I mean there are other ways to get these isos but I won't go any further than that.

They make this adapter that u can plug ur cartige into, and on the other end is a USB, needless to say it comes with special software..

Project 64 is the BEST n64 emulator, and it is definitly better than a real N64, though there are still few incompatibilities with certain games,, the introduction of AA and AF in n64 games really brings out its full potential.. + u can run it at ANY resolution.. need i say more

ePSXe is also great, but because PS1 games are on CDs theyr'e usually 500+ megabytes each, so it is harder to find a game that isn't UBER popular. Unless u BUY, but i'm talking about the rare ones only sold in Other countries..
U'd also need the ps1 BIOS file to run ePSXe, u can download them, best from chinese sites if u can read um. they usually have latest stuff in terms of "WAREZ"
Dont bother playing the INITIAL D game on PS1, it suxx, because the turns are speeded up while the straights are slowed down. NOTHING to do with my Hardware ,, just how it is..

Crash Bandicoot is like S3X
