I have a trendnet tk-205i kvm switch
at the time i got it, i had a winxp box and a linux box
the mouse never worked on the linux box and i assumed that it was a compatability issue between linux and the switch
now that i've switched it to another win xp box, the mouse still isnt working
i have the msi k7n2g-l mb
is a defective ps2 port on the mb the only thing that could cause it to stop working or is there some bios setting that may turn off this port?
i know this is a long shot and that it probably will boil down to mb issue but i don't want to spend weeks rma'ing the board
thanks
edit: just to add
if it is the mb, would a ps2 --> usb convertor solve this problem and allow me to use the kvm mouse instead of having to have an additional usb mouse?
