Any ideas ?

I get some shakyness in GT4 during the start of some races. It goes away after a bit. GT4 is about all I play though :D

My PS2 is a psTwo though (slim one)

i think it's because of the rendering of the graphics at a certain course at a certain section. i've experienced this at infinion, at the starting section of the course, esp when there are a bunch of cars.

oh well GT4 still kicks ass.

I think there are reports of screen shake after passing licenses, which I personally have experienced as well.

No crashing though.

Forza is a much better overall experience (dont call me a fanboy I OWN both, and originally was a GT fan only, untill i tried Forza)

i get the screen shake often, only in GT4
happens just before the start of a race, where it shows the cars auto-driving towards the start line

This is also where I notice it the most. Seemingly, it's the only place it happens.

I haven't played Forza much... just an OXM demo. Does it have trucks, or classic muscle cars? Or is it mostly exotics and Jap/Euro performance cars?

Sorry for the threadjacking :)

I also have both and they are very different games. Forza feels more arcadish for me.. I dunno why. Most likely from using the joypad.. but it has its charms :) I.e. Ricing out cars etc.. :D

I thought consoles worked perfectly? Why are people who make that claim in defense of them vs. PCs mysteriously missing from this thread? ;)

Nope, has a ton of domestics, :D I just started playing this week and am only done 16.5% of the game so far, it does indeed have Muscle cars :D I havent seen any trucks in it yet, so I dont beleieve it has any.

I would say the cars are easier to control and maneur in Forza, but thats just me maybe? Also one thing I noticed is that Forza does feel much faster than GT4 in terms of speed.

i don't have anything against forza but i just think that it's very teen-ish... it gives you all the ferrari's and race cars but so what... i like to hustle and work my way up on cars... getting the licence and buying a 92' lancer evo and work your way up...

if anything, i love street cars much more than race cars. so as for "customizing" cars... i prefer my stuff stock =)
