Roomate bought a small TV with just yellow and white jacks. I have a PS2 with One, red and Svideo. I can either buy a converter, RF unit for PS2, or a DVD player or.....*gasp*.... VCR to run it through. I can't get to any of those places, and we want to play. Any other way I could make it work? thanks

Do you have the red, white, and yellow PS2 A/V cable? If so, just plug in the white and yellow connectors and it will be fine.

do you have any video cassette tapes? if so, why dont you get a VCR, you can hook up other game systems if you get any, or you can hook up a dvd player.

if you get the RF converter, you wont be able to hook up any other game systems. you'd have to buy another converter for every game system

Heh. I must be the ONLY person in the world whose only hardware that has an S-Video INPUT is a video card.

Seriously, I have a ton of TVs, a ton of VCRs, several DVD players. NONE of them have S-Video inputs.

Nope I'm exactly the same way - video card has S-video, same with my tv tuner, but everything else in my house is ghetto w/ no component or s-video

you'll need a converter then. the same thing they include with laptops or video cards sometimes.

Yeah, they have cheapy converters that will convert s-video to composite ( the yellow jack) they shouldn't cost too much from radio shack if you don't have one.
