I read that Sony and Microsoft decided to bundle games at $179 *instead* of dropping prices. It's apparently driving the retailers nuts because it doesn't really help sales. Although if Gamecube sales take off this holiday season due to their price cuts, you might see them both drop to $150. But I seriously doubt it, since we know Microsoft was losing money on each one even at prices higher than $200, and Sony's profit margins still can't be great at $179.
