PS2 on my 2005FPW?

I'd like to be able to play my PS2 on my new 2005FPW. The monitor comes with Composite, S-Video, VGA and DVI inputs and can be easily switched to by the press of a button. There is also the option of PIP and PBP. I've looked around on the web for some adapters but I'm really not sure as to what I need. Can anyone offer any kind of advice? The PS2 has the standard red/yellow/white cabling (RCA).

Thanks.

They yellow is for Video the other two are audio. Your monitor is not a set of speakers so you'll need to do the sound else where.

That sucks.

Surely you knew before you bought the monitor it did not have audio capabilities! 😛

no, dont get the dell sound bar

i have the exact same thing, PS2 is plugged into the 2005FPw via s-video (looks WAY better than composite)

then, i have the 2 audio plugs put into a headphone to rca adapter, but im using it backwards

i plug a 1/8" coupler and use my headphones or speakers

Great, thanks a lot!

I used a VGA adapter to plug into my 2005fpw. I forget who made it (sold the PS2 and all), but it basically took component and converted to VGA and you plug that right into the VGA port on the monitor. It looked decent to me, better than Svideo was.
