Ps2 not working!

a lot of the times the motor to spin the disc dies, or the motor to properly eject the disc dies that sucks

if it was an xbox you could just replace the drive with a computer's optical drive

just buy an new ps2 chances are more stuff is going to break

Yeah....it sucks that the PS2 is so cheap. Tons of problems like that....

First and second gen Xbox were crap too. Makes me wonder about the 360...I haven't bought a console since Dreamcast. Too risky. 😛

yeah, you need to clean the laser and probably adjust the laser a little bit. that is a really easy process. let me know if you are interested i'll be able to help you out a little more.

Either buy a new one or just forget about it. The PS2 may work for some games. But it is not worth fixing it. It will probably cost like $60-$80 US.
