PS2 GT3 Hardware Bundle!!!

<< Sony has released a box shot of their GT3 hardware bundle, available in stores on July 10. The bundle will sell $329.99, and comes complete with a Dual Shock 2 controller, AV Multi Cable, AC Power Cord, in addition to a copy of Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec (also availabe seperately on July 10). As previously reported, Sony has switched over their hardware production line to churn out GT3 bundle packs and only GT3 bundle packs for an undetermined amount of time...presumably in preparation for the launch of the Xbox and Gamecube and the more-than-likely PS2 price drop that will come at that time. So if the standard $299 hardware-only PS2?s sell out, the GT3 bundle is likely all that will be around for a while. Plan your purchasing accordingly. >>

Speaking of the price drop.

It's happening in Japan. Expect it around the time of the xbox here. I'm still getting an xbox

Personally, I'd like to see the Logitech wheel bundled with GT3 and maybe even with a PS2. It'll lure the people that'll only buy the PS2 for GT3, such as myself. Sure, these people may be few and far in between relative to the other PS2 buyers and the price may be a bit high, but with the expected price cut it'll still probably be around the $300 mark. But then again, I might just be smoking crack and kicking myself in the ass for buying the M$ Wheel two years ago...
