PS2 connecting to LCD through Composite & X-Fi's S/PDIF In?

I'm not sure where to post this, so I hope someone can answer my question. I am currently am trying to get my PS2 working with my PC. I just got a PS2 Composite Cable to connect directly to my monitor (2407WFP), and I was wondering how I should hook up my audio to my PC. Would it be possible to use a passthrough of S/PDIF through my X-Fi Elite Pro sound card?

Well you should be able to use the Ps2 optical out and hook into the Sound cards front panel, which should have an optical in.

Another way is to use an RCA Red and White audio cables to 5.1 3.5mm sound jack converter.

I would try using the optical cable method since you will get true 5.1 Dolby.
