PS2 and SD cards

Can I hack an SD card into my PS2 and use it to save games? Is the Sony 'memory card' SD? It has 8 pins...

Sony's memory card is the Memory Stick Pro. I don't remember my PS2 having a slot, but then again I had the slim one.

He's talking about the PS2's proprietary memory card type. Your slim PS2 has that.

I doubt it's SD inside though.

Trade your SD card for a memory stick?

I thought it might be cool to have some internal storage in my PS2 - it's a slim so I can't install a hard drive.

Also, the mem cards are only 8mb as far as I'm aware, and I have much bigger SDs around.

You could use an external hard drive.

But you can't save games to the hard drive, and running games from an external hard drive isn't worth it either.

Someone sells adapters so you can use SD in a PS2 Memory Card slot...

how about you say where?

I couldn't find anything on a Google search.

The only thing I found were the Max Memory cards. They have upwards of 64MB cards that I believe have excellent compatibility.
