PS2 and 2405FPW

Ok i have my PS2 hooked to my 2405FPW right now with S-Video, but i am wondering how much of a difference will it make in non HD games ( i only have one HD game GT4)? Also are the Sony Comonent Cables ($20) any better than the MadCatz(sp?) ($10) ones?

Also whats the best way to output sound to my computer? I was thinking about doing this

PS2---> RCA_Audio(R&W) ----> Female_to_Male RCA 3.5 mm plug -----> Sound Blaster Mic

Do you guying think this will be any good?

the games don't look very good to me over component, as for sound, i have the the audio almost the same as your setup

Thanks but do you mean it doesn't look better? And do you agree with a 480i vs a 1080i displayed?

Personaly i know my 480i game will look pixelated a 640x480 scale to fit while keeping aspect will never look as clear as just playing 640x480 but who wants to play on a 5"x3" square when you have 24in in front of you lol
