PS1 games on a PS2

I am getting a PS2 soon and I am wondering which PS1 games will not work on it, does anyone know? Thanks.

Also, where is a good place to buy classic PS1 games online? Thanks again.

Why would the games not work? I've never heard about any PS1 games not working.

Apparently there are some old ones that won't work. I just hope its none of the really good ones.

All the PS1 games are supposed to work on the PS2.

I haven't run into any problems running my PSX games on my PS2.

I think it was announced when the PS2 first came out. Some games just aren't compatible and some actually look slightly better.

99.999% of PS1 games playwithout problems on a PS2.

What games are you looking for? eBay can be a decent source, I bought a serveral of the Final Fantasy games there new / sealed for about $15 each. Used should be a little cheaper. Amazon is another decent source, there you have no bidding hassles.

ebages.com has pre-played games sometimes cheap, but always price-check. Bargain bins at a local EB might be worth checking too.

The games that don't work are almost exclusively obscure JP games. Most of the troubled titles work but just have weird glitches, like a save bug for example. It's not something I would be concerned about.

The only american title I ever heard of that didn't work was some random wrestling game that nobody played anyway. I can almost guarantee you won't have a single problem.
