PS suspect, test or swap?

I have two ps testers, and old Power and Cooling with just a single LED, but with a couple big power resistors, a cheapy 10 led that checks all the voltages and grounds, and I have a slightly smarter LCD display model that shows I think 6 voltages on the way from China, but I was thinking tonight this level of testing may be pointless, just keep a decent known good PS around and swap it in and see if the problem goes away.

Just gave up waiting for a sale and bought a Corsair CX400W from TigerDirect (not the great $20 deal from NewEgg, but $30 amir isn't bad).

Ugh, now I kick myself for not swapping it out sooner, all issues gone with cheap new PS (Corsair is still in transit and going in a nicer system).
