Ok ..my Gigabute 7vrxp fried ..I had a 2100+ and PNY 4600 video card......I convinced my self that its stupid to just get a new motherboard because the other stuff is over a year and a half old..I made the sickening decision to Just upgrade my motherboard and CPU. Well after 2 days of reading and 2 sleepless nights ...My budget went from $300 to who the frig knows at this point. Video card and memory..maybe PS.. Well I bit the bullet and purchased the Asus a8n-sli despite all of the problems..Im working on the processor at this point ..its either the 3200+ or 3500+ winchester core. Im only going to run 1 video card at this point, the leadtek 6600gt extreme. and now I need to buy memory,..probably the dual chan Patriot. Im currently sweating It gets crazy ..
well anyway, here is my question .. Im currently using a huge antec case with plenty of case cooling 5-6 case fans ..and antec true 430w PS.. I curently have 5 Hds. 3 36gig scsi / adaptec 29160n scsi card. 1 160 gig ata and 1 180 gig ata. DVD burner and CD/RW.. Will my current PS be enough for my new system.....Please please say yes.. as far as overclocking ..i will do a bit but nothing to extreme..my comp usually runs 24 / 7 ..I turn it off every now and then to give her a rest. Not sure if im missing anything...
