MSI 6321 pro-a
yamaha scsi 4*4*16 burner
nec 30+ scsi Cd-Rom (I forgot the speed)

30gig 5400rpm western dig
4 case fans 80mm
antec 1030 case with the 300watt

I just installed a new case fan to give me the fourth. It is a fan that has the little 3pin connector. Anyways I did have some "physical memory dump" with win2000, but with the fan installed my system don't even boot
I took the fan off and I have the problem still
all I get is a LOng beeeeeeep and two short ones beep beep
so I don't know if it is my lame generic memeory or my fan screwed something
some help please??

thanks

Well I don't think it's your memory since they have been working fine before the addition of the extra fan. I have a similar but less severe problem before.

I added an extra fan to my system which resulted in windows not booting up at all. It BSOD on the splash screen. Then I removed the fan and everything worked fine again. So I guess it could be a problem with your PS.

Maybe you knocked a card loose....Try reseating video and memory....Maybe unplug system and push power button, wait a minute or so and plug it in and see if it will boot up.
