Chrono Trigger I might get. The Vita badly needs its own games though. It's suffering the same fate as the PSP.

We're running out of ones people have been waiting for too. Resistance was supposed to be good, but it wasn't. Gravity Rush was okay but seems to be have been overhyped. The MGS remakes are good but are still only remakes. LBP would be nice but is just a port of something we know already. It's getting its own Assassin's Creed which is great, but from the looks of it they're trying to stuff a full console game into a portable which IMO is always where Sony falls short. The best games to me have been the simpler, portable friendly games like Mutant Blobs, Sound Shapes, and pinball. The full console games made smaller like Uncharted just remind me that the Vita is still more limited than what we're used to. It highlights weaknesses instead of building on strengths.

Meh... I dunno. I'm still glad I have it and have no plans on giving up on it but I'm starting to lose hope in the upcoming games.

Games look rather good on the Vita, it's just sad that so many games came out before the DualShock came out that my Dpad is really getting a workout.

Assassin's Creed might not be bad, because while the game is a large open-world game, you can logically divvy everything up via missions. The missions usually only take between 5-20 minutes to complete (depending on how intensive they are), and I would guesstimate that the average is closer to 5 minutes than 20.

Some games really don't hold up at all - but some are pretty good. +1 FF is probably alright - but I think Resident Evil 1 might be alright on the handheld. I would like to see the Wipeout titles too.

What the fuck? So apparently unless I own a PS3 this news is almost irrelevant? There is only like 5 games available that can be purchased WITHOUT the PS3.

Why would they do something like this? Some subtle way of making people buy a PS3?

Also, this whole thing is incredibly lame. There was nothing stopping Sony from releasing PS1 games on PSP but they actually waited for the Vita to make people shell out $250 for the new hardware. No wonder people play pirated isos on the PSP.

They added new games that don't require PS3 side-loading. Although, I can't remember how many, but it certainly isn't close to the 100+ that are playable on the Vita (through PS3 side-loading).

So the over 100 game announcement was made at Gamescom (?) in Europe and applied only to EU at the time. Sony released additional 26 games yesterday, check the store.

Yeah, I agree, SCEA dropped the ball big time. What the hell were they doing past 2 months since the announcement? Obviously, they only planned to release 9 games to start since that's what was disclosed at E3. FU Sony.

Also, this favoritism to PS3 owners is stupid as well. I sold my launch PS3 since I don't have time to game too much, and got a Vita. Sony knows this too, but they are using this as silent leverage. Fu Sony, FUUUUU.
