How far will a 180W Powerman Power Supply get me?

shot of PS

I plan to use it for everyday use and LANs because of its Micro ATX Form Factor.

I plan to use

ASUS P4B533-VM
P4 1.6A
256/384/512MB DDR SDRAM
60 GB HDD
AIW Radeon 8500DV
SB Live! Value
Netgear NIC
16x DVD
Floppy
Keyboard/Mouse
2 USB Devices

Case im considering

Will this case accept a standard ATX Power Supply?

I can't tell from here (Bad Eyes) 🙁

However I have a 250W ATX Power Supply just waiting to be used.

TIA! 🙂😀

Lets just say that a p4-m in laptops uses 35watts(If my memory still works)

in other words, get a 300Watts PS MINIMUM

Check out mys system..I have a 300Watt Antec that is struggling....I need a new PS of 400Watts...::frown:

I was checking hte case but show a link to the info...as long as it is ATX, it is fine...no flex ATX or you'll need a different kind of PS

i'm thinking that probably won't be enough, but i think that 250 should be, considering 300 is enough for athlons (which consume more power than p4's i believe).

dell is using 250s in their P4s. they had to increase from 200s. granted, dell used larger PSs than the absolute minimum that crapaq and hp used, but if they're moving up by 50 watts that tells me something.

Doesn't Gateway use a 200W psu? I doubt they would have used anything lower, and i'm sure they would have thoroughly tested everything to work smoothly with only 200W. It looks doubtful that everything will run on that 180W, IMHO.

<< That's a nice-looking case! Like a relative of the CASPER II I'm so fond of. 🙂 >>

Im thinking about buying it and putting a plexiglass window in the side.

Now:

Can I use a Standard ATX Power Supply in that case?
