I've been using a PS/2 MS Natural keyboard for a while now (damn thing's lasted over 5 years). I was thinking about getting a new MS Natural Pro instead, but I think it only comes in USB
I've heard many ppl complain about the extra latency (delay) USB adds over PS/2 for mice and keyboards. I currently use the PS/2 for my intellimouse explorer because of this fact.
I'm a big gamer (or was at least until CS 1.4 came out
) and I'm sure I'll continue with it. Should I be worried about the extra latency from a newer USB keyboard? Does anyone have experience with trying the two against eachother and seeing if they can tell the difference?
Hell, I'd be using a wireless mouse right now if i weren't worried about latency. I even tried the intellimouse explorer wireless once and took it back because the latency was so horrible. Anyone that says they can't tell the difference is crazy.
