PS-2 or X-Box?

Why? So many reasons....

1) Sony is proven to produce/acquire quality games for the Playstation (1 or 2) platform. [Which is odd, because for the most part their Online Entertainment division is total crap.]
2) Playstation 2 is actually backwards compatible. Those of us that have PS1 games can still enjoy them without having to find new PS1's. [Too bad you cannot save PS1 games to the PS2 Mem Card....]
3) X-Box is a Microsoft product. [You may not agree with this one, but others do.]
3) Heihachi > Spawn.

That is enough for now, I think. 😛

gamecube good for party gaming/classics: zelda, mario, etc.
ps2 good for rpging, ddr
xbox good for comp replacement

GC should be on there!

xbox has ddr now

PS2. my favorite type of games are RPG's, and X-Box has 2 RPG's, whereas PS2 has a pretty good selection, especially when you consider that it's backward compatible.

PS2, because it just has the most good games.
That's why I'd probably get a PS2 if I ever get a console, as a supplement to my gaming PC. XBox is technically superior (though a joke compared to my PC), but there are many more good PS2-only games than there are XBox-only (that aren't on the PC).

Xbox.

All must-have games save for Gran Turismo and Halo are on both platforms. There is no real reason to go to one console over the other when looking at games.

Xbox has a noticeable edge in video and audio quality.

Xbox is 4-player ready out of the box.

Xboxes can be modded after their life as a game console is over for other purposes.
