hey guys, i have a a64 system with a evga nf-41 motherboard. i also have a hp ps/2 keyboard with a bunch of quick launch buttons. can anyone tell me how to configure it to start uo using a button on a keyboard??? i sisnt see in the bios an option saying "keyboard start-up" or anything. also, how to configure all the quick launch buttons?? is there soft ware for this? any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

Should be in the "wake on" settings. It could be called a number of things but just look for "wake on" and experiment

i did and i found "wake-up settings" or something like that. it had options ms-only, kb-only. i am assuming it means mouse or keyboard. i picked both. no luck. well guys i guess i have to wait until someone who has same mobo as me finds this thread. thanks

UPDATE: guys i found it. there is a jumped on a mobo saying "keyboard/usb power on disabled/enabled" so i switched it into enabled. it works now. plus i donwloaded software for the keyboard from hp and now all the buttons work as i wanted. thanks

Yup, I was going to say that often there are both a setting in the BIOS and a jumper to supply standby power to the kbd. Since I jumped in, I went ahead and said it again anyway. Closing in on the big 10k - maybe I can make it by the new year...
