As far as SETI goes ,proxies usually refer to a WU storing machine ,eg something that is running SETIQ or similar.
Sub teams doesn't really happen with SETI ,there is 1 though set up by Ken ,I think the main reason their aren't many SETI sub teams in SETI is that their is no facilty for individual stats for each user ,having said that I have just read about the new SETIQ which allows seperate queing for different ID's AND clients ,so that may all change this!.
I must admit to being somewhat uneasy at mini teams developing for SETI.For RC5 it has had mixed results as far as morale goes (lets not get in to that here! 😉)
