If you wanted to view content that was region restricted, how would you go about it? Following a link that was posted here, I got sidetracked on squirrels, and wanted to watch something on grey squirrels in the UK, but I'm getting a "Not available in your area" message. Using a couple proxy sites provided by Google, gave extremely slow performance, and the video player didn't show at all; just a static picture. Do any of you use some kind of proxy for this purpose? If so, what?

If anyone cares, this is the link I was trying to watch...

The only way youre going to get decent video streaming performance is to use a local proxy. That involved installing and configuring. Web proxies will always be slow 🙁

That's what I was thinking. I don't think a local proxy would work for this situation. It would still show up as a verboten ip, no?
