Here in Dubai, we have to go through a proxy server, which basically blocks out anything that doesn't conform to the social or religious 'values' here. Hmmm but I see plenty of hookers out on the street every night...That doesn't seem to be a problem for the authorities here.

In any case, i know there is software like Multproxy out there that lets you go around these proxy servers...thing is i haven't a clue as to how to use it. Oh the multiproxy site and other proxy redirectors are blocked here so its a no go there. Also using the site DNS address doesn't work either.

Any here know how to get the software to work? Or any other suggestion?

What is Dubai? How does Dubai control the local authorities? If they don't, they're two totally unrelated issues that you can't compare to one another.

Since this will most likely be locked if a mod ever sees it, I'll just say that proxy servers and IT-controlled web browsing are there for a reason. Management doesn't want you doing what you're trying to do so just get over it and do your work.

Ah, I see. In any case, either get used to it and live with the requirements of living in that city or move.

Figured I'd get that kind of response out of you.

As in the ISP here in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Get another ISP?

Monopoly here.

Then petition the city government to change the laws. Why the hell does everyone do whatever they want with blatant disregard and disrespect to the law?

Dude, stfu and leave. Please.
