Proxy server???

I'm planning to use my fast computer as a proxy server since its on all the time and my other slow computer as a client since my bro only uses it once in awhile.
I have zone alarm install on the fast computer. My question is that if both were on at the same time will my firewall protect the slow computer too or do i have to install
zone alarm.
Is it true that crossover cable has a max transfer rate of 10mbps??

Yes, ZA will prevent ppl from hacking in to your bro's PC as well, cuz all incoming internet traffic is coming in from your PC... However it will not protect spyware on your bro's PC from phoning home...

I should warn you though... ZA does not like NAT softwares... they won't work unless you turn your security level on ZA down...
