I am trying to get Internet traffic to use a diffrent internet connection then game traffic is using with CCproxy on a duel NIC server running 2003.
Ok, I have setup proxy WAN gateway ip as 192.168.1.1 and NIC1 as ip 192.168.1.2 and default gateway as 192.168.1.1. Nic2 is setup as ip 192.168.0.31 with gateway as 192.168.0.1 (the gateway hooked to the same switch as NIC2). I have set the client proxy to ip 192.168.0.31:808 ect.
The computers still prefer to use 192.168.0.1 as the gateway to connect to internet. If I disconnect NIC2 then the server will use NIC1 for internet. If I reattach NIC2 then the server will start to use NIC2 and 192.168.0.1 again. I have setup IE in the server to use the proxy also. If I close ccproxy I am no longer able to connect to the internet with any computer until I reactivate it. I am sure I am doing something wrong. Thanks for the help.
