Proxy login?

I have a computer here at work that refuses to use the proxy server correctly. All other computers in the building pick up the proxy settings from a policy in Active Directory. This computer picks up the settings, but whenever I try to access a website through the proxy server, I get asked for a login and password. If I enter this, it will work correctly for roughly 5 minutes before asking again. This is not user specific, as this user can login on any other machine and it will work fine. Any suggestions I should try as far as settings that may be FUBAR?

Thanks in advance,

Does that machine login to the domain, or is it stand-alone? If your proxy is using NTLM transparent authentication and the machine isn't in the domain, users will be forced to manually login.

IE does have some bugs where it will occasionally "forget" to send the proxy login with a GET request, forcing another login window to appear. I'd download the latest IE updates and see if that fixes it, too.
