Proximatron+IE... something is wierd.. HELP

I have several forums that I regularly visit, I'm usually logged in and ready to post, but now I have to re-log all the time, but on some sites I don't (Anand for one) I can't seem to find what ever settings might be doing this. My IE settings are at default, and so is proximatron. Also when I tried to go to Staples web site it won't let me in it says I have no cookies enabled, but in the IE settings I do... where can I fix this w/ Proximatron, their site is no help on this.

If you have Proxomitron at it's default settings, that's probably what's doing it. Go to the help file in the program and walk through every one of the options, setting them up the way you want them. The help file is fairly easy to understand.

Also, if you want to bypass Proxomitron altogether for certain sites (Hotmail and espn.com have problems for example) you can do that in IE. Go to Tools>Internet Options>Connections>Lan Settings>Advanced>Exceptions. Type whatever website you want to bypass the prgram for (like this: *espn*; *hotmail* and away you go.

BTW, this program rocks. I have no problems with it (including on the AT forums), and surfing without it is almost painful now. Goodbye popups, popunders, annoying animated gifs, flash, etc.

I agree, the program is great, but some of it is a little hard for me to understand, the options page is full of stuff I've never heard of and since the AT forums work fine for me, and some take a day to log me out and others log me out the minute I leave I'm afraid the the cure lies with me finding out what's different about those forums, and I'm not sure how to do that.

I haven't messed with my settings for a long time so I have no idea what one could be doing it, but backup your default config file and uncheck the suspicious categories, and then check them one by one and test it as you go along to find the culprit.
