Proxim Symphony ISA and PCMCIA cards for $10 new!

I was just at 2 Office Max stores, and both had Proxim Symphony ISA and PCMCIA cards for $10 each, NEW! One store had them marked for $20, one had them marked $10, but they all rang up for $10. These are NOT 802.11b or a. http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/appendixB.html has some useful hacking information.

i wish i had an isa slot. I had to go external just so i could use a hardware modem. Now i need the serial port for something else. whoever invented the concept of a winmodem needs to get their ass kicked.

Hey now, the winmodem did have a time and a place.......you remember when chip prices and memory were 3-4x what they are today? Thats why the winmodems were made, in a time long long ago when when it would cost a ton for a real modem. Anyway whats wrong with winmodems today? I know i've got clock cycles to spare
