proxim symphony HRF USB adapter on Win XP

I am trying to install this Proxim Symphony USB adapter to a WinXP machine but can not figure out how the heck to get it working. I downloaded the latest drivers from Proxim's site that are suposed to work with WinXP. After running the installed and letting new hardware wizard detect the device, it gives me "error code 10" in device manager. Has anybody set one of these up? Their tech support is crappy so I won't get any answers from them.
