Just wondering, I need another monitor and someone I know is selling the eMachines' 17" monitor. It's by Proview and the model is PRO-710. Not flat screen or anything like that. You think it's worth it? A quick response MUCH appreciated as I need to get it within the hour if I am to get it at all.

What kind of shape is it in? 17"ers under $100 are a dime a dozen but $40 wouldn't be a bad deal at all :)

Once you get a 17" though, you're gonna want the 19"... Trust me :)

Now that I'm at 19", I'm thinking about going up to 21"...it never ends...

It's a rounded one (i.e. not Trinitron or CRT). I think I'll take it. Is Proview good in general? By the way, this is for a test system that I only check a few times a day. My gaming machine has a Samsung SyncMaster 755DF and I'm getting an 21" FD Trinitron within a week or two.
