i just bought this monitor at wal mart for$248. i really love the widescreen way more than i thought i would. does anybody else have this monitor? what is your opinion of it? also has anyone had bad experiences with a proview lcd?

I do. It's a decent monitor, but I can't figure out how to turn off stretching, and it's really annoying me. My system can't really push the pixels at 1440x900, and I don't like stretched lower resolutions. I'd ultimately like to do what my laptop does: stretch keeping aspect ratio.

Other then that, it's been great. Awesome color reproduction, better black levels then my (old, dying) crt, very fast response time (no smearing I can see) and best of all: no dead or stuck on pixels!
