Anyone here been asked to complete these tests?

http://www.proveit.com/default.htm

Microsoft Windows 2008 Server Administration
Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Administration
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Administration
Network Administration
Technical Support - IT/Network
LAN Hardware

If so how are they and what can I expect. It seems like a lot of tests to require for a job. Not to mention how crappy the wording on some of these tests can be.

Wow, interesting...never seen this before. I'd be interested in seeing how valid and "real world" they are...Anyone done this?

I had a potential client direct me to a site that asked a ton of questions about IT administration stuff.

I took the test for them. There were a lot of questions about SQL management, which I seldom run into. I'm also convinced there were some wrong answers in their list of correct ones.

I asked the potential employer how I did in comparision to others and was told I was the first person who'd ever taken the test for them.

Got some more information about the tests. They are supposedly 30 minutes to an hour long each. So that means I'm looking at 4+ hours of testing, to complete all 7. Really annoying that they require this much testing just to be considered for the position.

That is the market you are in.... They feel it is better to waste your time than their's. And can get away with it because people will take the tests because they want a job. Add on top of it all the people who simply studied/memorized some test questions and got a bunch of certs in MS products (and couldn't troubleshoot their way out of a paper bag)...

amen!!!!

Took the tests and all 7 took me just over 5 hours. The questions where not very good IMO. Lots of questions with every answer being the same except 1-2 words, and other questions being kind of vague making it hard to really understand what they wanted. Basically a lot of word play and not much actual technical or problem solving. The first 5 or so questions about Server 2008 were all the system requirements.
