Oh,
i just got the game like 2 days ago. and fell loving it.
Just wondering if there is a faster way to earn the points (not sure what it calls, but the number underneath the powerbar where you can buy abilities)

also, i am playing the PC version.
E8400, 4870 512mb, 4gb ram.

Is it normal to lag(choppy frame rate in some scene)if i set the resolution to 1650x1050.

when i set it 1440x900, then i got no choppy frame rate at all.

Evolution Points

Just keep aiming for gold in the events. They're fairly easy to get (except for a couple of events).

Aside from that, destroy those hives/bases! And maybe find some orbs while you're at it.

i am wondering if i keep killing and destroying will earn the evolution point.

when killing hunters, it is quite easy to earn point way more than finishing any events.

Getting all 200 landmarks right at the start will get you enough to buy everything at the beginning and have 2 million in reserve for future stuff.

Invest in the jump upgrades ASAP. Then, you can use a walkthrough or something to get all the landmark orbs and/or hint orbs. These will net tons of EP. Doing events also help.

Also, as soon as you gain the ability to jack choppers, you can run around leveling bases with them very easily. This can also net quite a lot of EP.

Blow up infected buildings and military bases for BIG points, easiest to do with a hijacked chopper or tank. Also, destroying or simply evading strike teams earns 15k pts or so. By the end of my first play thru I had unlocked every single upgrade.

I think this game may be quad core optimized. I noticed all 4 of my cores working when playing this game. I have the same vid card/same ram, only difference is I have a phenom 2 X3 720 (4th core unlocked)@3.2ghz and it runs smooth as butter with all the settings maxed at 1920x1080.

is there a way to show the frame rate?

is it a big difference between a c2d 3.0g and a x3(4th core unlocked)@3.2ghz ?

i usually pick up a big truck and then smashing through the road killing everyone and vehicles that are in my way. that is fun~!

Upgrade movement and health powerup before any offensive capabilities; when you start upgrading weapons, concentrate on the blade and devastator attacks; at the end of the game, it will make the final boss fight a LOT easier.
