Recently, I've been using my comp more and more, and right now I'd say that because it's summer and I have nothing to do, I'm on at least 7 hours every day. My main concern right now is that this is gonna kill my eyes... so can anyone give me any tips for keeping them good? I don't wanna have to RMA these suckers, because I think they're outta stock.

The 60Hz will fatigue your eyes like nuthin else. Get a vidcard and monitor that can do 75Hz or better.

I'm not aware of any actual evidence of actual damage to actual eyes from actual computer use however. (If there is any, I'm in a world of trouble... my work machine has 4 monitors on it.)

I don't want to use cleaning stuff though! Nothing like that... I just want to keep my eyes good and dandy!

I heard that monitors and stuff can kill your eyes or something if you go for long hours on them without a break. They'll be all tired and screwed up and stuff...

i spend about 35-50 hours a week at work looking at CRT's

then about 1-8 hours a day at home looking at computer screens, so out of an average 168 hour week i spend about half in front of a CRT and i don't have any problems
