Protected AAC to MP3

Hi i was wondering if there was a way to convert protected aac files to mp3 using windows XP. I dont want to hassel with burning them onto a cd then reripping to mp3. I there a user friendly software solution to this. Thanks

1/8" Loopback cable + record.

I'd hardly think that "burn to image file, mount, rerip" is hard, but it's certainly more trouble than it's worth.
