It's official -- LordJezo is gay. :Q

I agree, gay!

waylman: how old are you? Is this your first of have you been stretched already. You know, just thinking about it gay men must be the least afraid of these exams..? Hmm? Ahh! *Washes brain with sandpaper*
I don't want one, maybe at 40 but not yet.

im 26..it was my 1st

WHAT!? Was this something your Primary wanted you to have for a specific reason? Is everything okay?

everything seems to be ok...this all started b/c I got the flu awhile back and they found microscopic blood traces in my urine...so now I have to go through some tests...the prostate being the least fun.

The answer may be scary. Not knowing you have a problem, or hiding from it, can scare you to death. :Q

But I thought those exams came at 40 not 25.

My wife goes to a male Dr for her woman stuff. She trust male doctors more. Plus her doctor is very good. She always comes home happy from her appointments.? Anyway, her doctor delivered both our boys and even speaks with me about stuff that I should know. I find it strange that at 20 you haven't gone for a check yet. At about 15 most girls I know already started going to a gyno. At 18 I know two girls where cists were found and had to be removed. Not to scare you as I'm sure you would have issues but in my experiences 20 is late, sexually active or not.

Uhhhhhh........nevermind.

😉

it isn't fun (i'm 48 & have had it done twice), but prostate cancer is less fun.

& no, a hot doctor wouldn't make it fun, either.

I'm 40 and I can't even remember being to the doctor since I was really young. I'm thinking maybe 20 to 25 years ago? My parents were always too busy to take me and now I'm so used to not going... I can't imagine going unless something seriously is wrong with me. But the prostate exam is something I am dreading. I do not want that to be my most intimate contact with another human being....

Aren't you supposed to start at 30?

I've got 5 more years.

edit: I wonder if anyone has ever had an exam performed by a female doctor.
I had several colonoscopy procedures done before and after my partial colonectomy by the lead Physician for Kaiser Oakland , and she was a woman.
Nothing to it. My pride has long been gone.
I even asked for :camera:, but they didn't want to do that.
You should start having them at age 40 ,according to my Kaiser / Permanente team.

BTW, it wasn't polyps or cancer and I don't wear a bag, thank you God.

They recommend you start at 18, usually.

AlienCraft - Kaiser is t3h suck! Trust me on this. They're great at treatment, but I have not met one person with a medical condition who hasn't had massive horror stories about dianoses. I have rheumatoid arthritis, was displaying at the symptoms of said RA, and the rheumatologist I saw just told me to keep an eye on it, didn't even schedule a follow up appointment. I had a better rheumy (through Kaiser) in Sacramento and got diagnosed and treated, but Kaiser really really really sucks at diagnosing problems.
