Prosecutors lose computer in Karr Case

it is amazing how much stuff an average police department can lose. They have tens if not hundreds of thousands of pieces of evidence, and stuff gets mis-tagged, destroyed, sold accidentally, and outright stolen from lock-up.

Now, wait, I'm confused. They indicted him for the JonBenet murder, right? So, why'd they seize his computer in the first place? Doesn't really seem relevant to the case. Unless the child-porn charges came first and the Ramsey charges came after.

He was charged with the child porn case in california years ago, then jumped bail and ran oversees.
