pros and cons of mem timings

Well if you're memory can handle the more aggressive timings, youre system should respond faster although what I noticed is memory at a higher FSB seems to perform better than memory at a more aggressive timing. That said, aggressive timings are great for lowering latency (which is really what it does) so it does make ur system feel faster (supposedly anyways, but if you're screaming away at 400mhz FSB w/ 3338 vs 2225, dun think you'll notice too much difference).

not overheat, but if you try to run at 220FSB @ 2-2-2-5 (yeah right.... well, if you get it working), that, combined with high voltage in the 3v area will kill your ram randomly one day. thats about it.

if you're really paranoid, get that Thermaltake ram heatspreader/40mmfan combo. the orange one. :p

run your ram what it's rated up to timing wise to the speed it's rated up to and relax the timings when your overclocking the ram
