Props to the people of Office Depot

After that short fiasco i had with them yesterday they finally agreed to honor the price after calling up the corporate HQ.

So i went over there and got myself a new box of Peachtree Accounting (Complete) 2002 for 1 Cent. (blurred out the rest of the receipt so no one takes advantage of it).

The CS Supervisor who didn't want to sell it to me yesterday retracted his comments and insisted that it wasn't him who didn't want to sell the package to me yesterday. I'm sure they all hated my guts after this. Makes me wonder if i'm still welcomed there next time around.

Odd thing is, the package still rang up as 1 cent although the tags have already been taken out and everyone was informed not to sell anything for a cent. (I know, a couple of the sales guys just smiled at me for the predicament hehehe)

Yeah the manager at the Office Depot here is really nice to me. Has let me bring in online only coupons, things like that. Super nice guy, that's how you run a busniess.

Fact is i was tempted to get them all but didn't want to abuse the ability to do so. Besides i really only need one, i got the Peachtree 2003 a week ago (free AR) from that Staples promo but will be returning that in favor of this slightly older yet "Complete" version.

And nope, didn't have a cent with me. I even told the cashier, "What else can you buy for a penny these days?" Thinking about that 10-10-220 guy while i said it
