Ordered a laptop from HP with standard 5-7 day shipping. It shipped from china last night and is on the vehicle for delivery this morning. Even with the 12 hour time difference that's impressive.

That would be a hell of a throw. It's about 500 feet from the road to our door. (Unless he's packing one of those hot-dog launchers they use at baseball games)

:biggrin: Fed-ex has a habit of delivering my packages to a house like a half mile down the road. Thankfully the guy who lives there is nice enough to bring me the packages that get mis-delivered.

I worked for FedEx for a year, those drivers go though a lot of shit. If one driver throws your package, it only cause dispatch is on the radio yelling at him to get to the next stop. Those trucks do not handle well in snow, ice.
 
China is in the future. So they can analyza data from the previous day to make sure the package is routed in the most optimized fashion.
