So I played Witcher when it first came it and it was a really good game with some bugs and such. Then they came out with a quick patch to fix the major bugs and load times. Now they have enhanced the entire game and added some new features and adventures to the game.

Its a free upgrade to a great game. I do not believe any other company would ever upgrade a game as they did, even if the game was severally flawed. Most large companies make a game and then will patch it occasionally. This is also a relatively new company and they spent more money upgrading a game rather then make a new one.

When their next game comes out I will def be looking for it based on how they have treated the consumer.

Big congrats to them for making the consumer happy rather than what most companies do.

I think CD Projekt is very happy with how their game turned out. Hopefully they follow it up with another amazing game.

Neither NWN or Kotor. The combat is completely real-time without any pausing and you only ever control 1 person. It's got a bit of action to it as well as RPG. Similar to games like Oblivion, Gothic 3, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Drakan, Heretic 2, etc.

It's also got nudity and swearing with some other cool situations. Which sort of puts it out on it's own in that kind of area that only an amateur game could get away with because none of the big studios would touch those subjects with a 50 foot pole.

yeah its truly an action rpg...real time combat with many rpg elements...every choice you make effects situations later in the game

its a very good game if you like RPG but want to be a little more involved in the action element
