1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Internet browsing, media consumption, and light gaming (WoW:Classic). They do nothing that is multithreaded.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
<$150

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
United States

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
N/A

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
AMD

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
a) G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
b) HP OEM RX 460 2GB (1024 Shaders)
c) Fractal Design Define Mini C TG MicroATX Mid Tower Case
d) Silverstone Strider Essential 400W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Overclocking not needed.

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
1080p
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
This week, ideally.

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
No. I've told my cousin that I can install Windows 10 but that it would be inactivated. They don't seem to care. I also mentioned that the motherboard can be upgraded with a much faster processor down the line if they decide the Athlon is too weak.

Well, not sure what advice that I/we can give, seeing as you (apparently?) already purchased the parts.

It doesn't seem like a bad build, a little hodge-podge, but that's what you get when you're building on a budget opportunistically with deals, so I totally understand.

I kind of sort of question the 2C/4T these days, when you can pick up a 6C/12T Ryzen R5 1600 for $105 or so, seeing as you already have a discreet card.

They're not actually purchased. Clicked the wrong checkbox on pcpartpicker. I only have the parts listed in my original post.

Ryzen 2200G is $80 on Newegg and Amazon right now, I would go that way over the Athlon. Less than twice the price, and it'd be new, not from ebay. Also, you wouldn't need to purchase a HSF. So it looks like for about $25 more you would get two more cores and higher clock speeds.

EDIT

Ahh, I see VirtualLarry beat me to it :). I agree that's the way to go.

You can check out the comparison in Bench.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I decided to cancel the 200GE order and swap the 2200GE I'm using in my Deskmini into this new build. Going to store the Deskmini until I can find a 2400G/GE for a little cheaper than they're going right now.
