Googled ways, always comes up if how to get it off, I just want to know where to dispose it. Flushing it down the sink isn't a great idea as it would poison marine life, not sure if just throwing it the trash is a good idea... Open to any suggestions. Currently living in Australia/Victoria.

trash.

it wouldn't go down the sink anyway.

how much do you have? if it's in a tube, give it to someone. if it's scraped off chips it should be going in the trash.

Yeah, I vote garbage too. If you must dispose of pollutants in water (washing out paint brushes or something), pour the water down the sink as opposed to down a street drain because sewer water will be processed and not go out into the environment.

Some things like car batteries and air conditioners need special handling. Not sure about thermal compound.

Fair enough, Arctic Cooling MX-4 says toxic to aquatic life, may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. What gets me is that it says dispose of it as hazardous waste.
