Proper temperature for a NetBurst 940?

A friend of mine just picked up a P-D 940 (stepping 2, rev. B1), stock HSF, with an Asus P5P800 SE. (That LGA775 i865P/PE-based DDR1/AGP dual-core compatible board) He put those in an Antec NSK4400 (120mm fan at the rear).

The Asus software and the BIOS are apparently claiming his CPU temperature is about 32C and his mobo temperature is 42C.

That's seeming a little... low... to us. Or are those 65mms NetBursts really not that bad?

a 12CM fan at 12v? Must be noisy. Temp doesn't look too inaccurate. 3.2GHz is still safe territory, it's once you hit the higher clocks that your temperatures increase like mad.

965XE is 3.73Ghz and consumes less power than a FX-62. You'd have to hit the mid 4.5Ghz for temps to skyrocket.

I have the same motherboard and a C1 940. My idle temp right now is at 22c. I had a 805 in yesterday and its temp at idle was 42c. I would say those temps look good. At full load I reach about 34c. I am running the 940 at 3.71.
