proper ram and cpu for server witch runs 8 virtual machine?

in our company we are developing 8 different web applications.
i want a server which can run 7 virtual machine for web applications.(final web applications will not run on this server)
i want to know how much ram and cpu this server need?
 
How much RAM and CPU do the actual web applications need? Start with that, then allow some overhead for the operating system in each VM and you'll have an idea of the minimum requirements for the machine.
 
i can't tell exactly but every one of our web applications need about 1 GB or 1.5 GB of ram and cpu need is not too much bacause most cpu usage is on client side.
