Just finished mixing a mojito using crushed mint (as in the cooking crush mint) cause i needed some kind of mint. EUGH! talk about floating pieces of mint to ruin a perfectly good drink. Never again will I mix without fresh leaves.

SO what about club soda amoutn? I saw on one site 3 oz club soda, the bacardi website says 7. bacardi also said 4tsp which might be too sweet compared to most recipes I've seen elsewhere. so how to YOU mix YOUR mojito?

I use 1/4 cup of rum on top of crushed mint leaves (fresh), two or three squeazes of lime juice, and 2 tsp. of sugar. Mix well and add ice and club soda to the top.

now for the squeezes, do you measure those out? I was told 1oz of lime juice, but that's like half a freakin lime!

also, for the presentation, would it be wise to add two or three unmuddled mint leaves into the final glass, stir well so they stick to the side of the glass, then drop in a slice of lime, garnish with a mint sprig? (for a girl, don't want to give her something that looks like mush)
