I have a Soltek-K8T-Pro939 motherboard and it has a Realtek ALC850 AC'97 2.3 8-Channel with UAJ, SPDIF optical in and out onboard audio sound card. I've tried different jacks but i just cant seem to get the placement of the jacks right. Sometimes 4 of my speakers work, sometimes only 2, sometimes all 5. If someone could tell me where what jack goes i would appreciate it. Below is a picture of my sound card. just tell me what jack goes where.

this isn't exactly yours, its my mobo...but you should find it similar. Just ignore the optical and treat it as the SPDIF out you have

Here

Use the green black and yellow one.

When you say only some of your speakers work, do you mean that as you switch what you're listening to sometimes it only comes out some speakers?

Generally music is stereo and will only come out 2 unless you make your soundcard to some sort of "clone mode" or whatever it has.

Games are often 4.1

DVD movies, surround sound tests, and some games will do 5.1
