proper fcpga heatsink mounting

gotser

I bought a heatsink/fan for my fcpga celeron and i'm starting to think it's not mounting correctly. the heatsink is just plain flat on the bottom and only touches the small top of the cpu. is this correct or do i have the wrong kind of heatsink? Shouldn't the heatsink have a small recess for the chip?

this could explain why my 566 wont post above 566! Argh!

gotser, you have it on correctly. Just make sure that the bottom of the heatsink is touching perfectly flat on that small portion of the CPU.
